Hello fellow vizzers,

Ever since I found out about this fantastic website, I've hardly even turned on my PS3 (I'm even considering selling it at this stage!) ......... My friends are like "Why do you want to play crappy old games when you have a PS3 right there?"........... I wouldn't include the word "crappy" in there but that is their opinion.

I love platform games and in my opinion platform games like the Mario games or Mega-man games are as good as if not better than any other new platform game. I also prefer classic Street Fighter to the newer versions out on PS3. However being a big fan of wrestling games, old wrestling games are quite rubbish in comparison with the new ones.

New games SHOULD be better as they have the more advanced technology but for some reason I prefer the older games.

What I want to know is are there any games out there where the original actually outshines the newer version of the game?

Well, considering I don't spend most of my time here playing Retro Games in Vizzed Board, I would say it is more memorable. Just playing it as a kid, then playing it later on when you are older feels great. You are trying to accomplish what you haven't acheived the first time you played it. Like I said before, it brings back more memories.

Eventhough some of the old or retro games are quite fun, some of the newer games are quite greater for the online player, the trophies that you unlocked, and the whole EPicness of it.

I love the old games, especially for the GameCube, but some newer games are cool and great too.

For the old wrestling games like Smackdown: Here Comes The Pain, I would say it is good as the newer games, but the newer wrestling games have the upperhand over the new things that have been changed since the old one.

Anyways, so I say it would be a tie for me.

The older sonic the hedgehog and pokemon games are way better than the new ones

Old games are much better than the new games because the makers of the old games did what they could do, the people who make the new games sometimes try to over do it and stop the game from being as good as it could be. There ARE some new games that are good, but there are also some that aren't so good. A good amount of old games are good too, so I say old games are better than the new ones.

Old games, they are so much easier to get into and the newer games seem to concentrate to much on graphics and less on gameplay so i find most of the older games more addictive
