After i captured Rayquaza i went straight to the pokemon league where i beat it after so many atempts, but going through the credits ready to go to the start screen and replay my game from my home, an unexpected twist came about...

my save file was deleted it was no more, if i press f4 i can go back right before i capture rayquaza but still, i cannot have any of the benefits of beating the pokemon league and getting the massive things that come afterwards

help?

So, you're saying this is an RGR problem? ...I see... does it save normally, or have you only been able to save with save states? If it doesn't save normally, then the problem is that after beating the E4, it would take you back to the title screen, where you would normally load your game. Since you've been using save states and never actually saved, however, there is no game to load... making the E4 as far as you can go.

acutually, I always useda regular save from the game, going into the pokemenu and using save, then I woulkd press f2 to save on that one 2, even though when I saved the reg way it would save like f2 but I did it anyways as a precaution. But everytime I loaded it back up, it would say i have corrupted data, but it would always bring me back to the same save i left off as, it said it after i beathe e4 and tried to load the game through menu except it wasnt there. Instead if i hit f4 then i could load my last save, but i doub tthat i could beat the game and go after the E4 to capture latios or latias, the battle tower and alot more pokemon im missing out on for not having "beat the e4"
