I remember when I was younger in boyscouts,
one of our older members was doing an eagle scout
project to help take care and setup a blood
donation operation. I remember feeling a bit weak
whenever I saw what was going on, and just looking and
thinking about the needles made me feel nervous.
Absolutely not a big fan of needles, but I sometimes
tolerate them when I have to. Not enjoyable at all
for any reason I can say.
But as far as blood donations go, I would want to
help, especially if someones life depended on it
then of course I will. But other than that
I'm happy where my blood is thank you very much.

I would like to donate blood, but it's kinda against the law. I'm on seizure medication. If someone received my blood with traces of the medication, then the medication would affect them. When it ran out, they might develop seizures in response to the lack of medication. I might be rid of this medication soon because I haven't had a seizure in a while. It's expensive too, so I won't miss it. When it's all gone, I might donate blood if I'm allowed.

I was going to at one point. I was at the red cross and everything. I was waiting and then I saw some lady pass out, and that was it for me. I started to get light headed and dizzy, so I just walked out. Apparently I have some type of rare blood so it would be good to get in there, I guess I will one day.

I have never donated blood, but I have had my blood drawn for a thyroid check. Once I am older I will probably donate blood, I do not really have a fear of doing it and it will be for a good cause. I do not fear needles or anything like that. My brother on the other hand is the complete opposite, he can not stand that kind of stuff. One time he cut his toe, saw a little blood, and passed out. This does not happen anymore, but I guess he was just in shock or something.
