The second sinkhole isn't as horrifying as the first one O.o No one was killed from that first one?? That looks ridiculously scary *shudders*

yeah... that one is bizarre and enormous. I don't know if that will ever be fixed properly. They're going to need to go down there to find out where the bottom is to find out what caused the problem. Until then I don't think there is any point in dumping anything down the hole.

People are always mining and putting more and more pressure on the planet, eventually something is going to give out.
Personally I think they should explore the hole and see how far down they go and such before trying to bury them.
They are very round though arn't they? Maybe aliens are testing some new drill or something, like in AVP
