Single player is better (in my mind) to gta4. I haven't really played much of the multi player so I can't judge, but the game is worth it just for the single player. The game really makes you work for your achievements/rewards. So It's a hit.

Hit without a doubt! I got it for the multiplayer, but the free roam is really quite dissapointing. However, the single player more than makes up for the shortcomings. Absolutely amazing game
