With the large number of loyal gamers who loved the Glory days of Sega and some of the gamers who maybe grew sick of the "Kid-friendly" nature of the wii or the headaches Sony and Microsoft hardware can sometimes cause, If the Dreamcast 2 ever does come out, I think it could be a success. But since Sega's most recent numbers caused them to cancel some proposed games, It's unlikely that they have the money to release this anytime soon.

I personally think that, while Sega does have the patent, they are waiting for a bigger line up of first-party games to back it, so it could be real.

I personally loved the Sega Dreamcast, and I think it would be really awesome if they made a second one, I don't think it will happen though. I know back in like 2007 or 2008 they where throwing around the idea but I don't know if it ever got started or anything. But again it would be awesome I would definitely get one, the Sega company is one of my favorite video game companies.

In my opinion, I don't think that Sega needs a new console. The dreamcast's graphics are still pretty nice even from today's standards. And if they did make a new console, it would probably ruin the company, Sega has a great thing going for them at the moment; they can release cross-platform games, therefore doubling, if not tripling, availability and therefore tripling cash flow as well! They can do anything they want at the moment, and making a new console would just ruin everything and send the company straight into the pooper! Not to mention that the Sega vs Nintendo wars would be brought into a new light, the world would plunge into chaos! Do you really want that to happen? Keep your filthy petition to yourself, for signing it will bring the downfall of Sega all together!
