Ok, my best friend told me about his girlfriends best friend and she sounded like my dream girl, so one day at my friends girlfriends birthday party he introduced me to her. She was really sweet and we hung out the whole time at the party. It's been a few months after this event and I found out she's slept with 4 guys. I really like her but that kinda scares me away. Should I keep chasing after her? I'm two years younger than her and my family thinks it's a waste of time but she's so perfect to me. I really don't know what to do. You'll probably say I'm too young to be getting in relationships but I don't think I'll meet a girl so perfect ever again.

uhm.... the fact that she sleeps around should be a HUGE red flag about this girl. And that is only in a few months since you met her? I would stay as far away from her as I could. What makes you think she'll be loyal to you if she sleeps around like this at 16?

Simply put, while your chasing her she will be chasing others. STAY AWAY!!! As geo said that is a big red flag. You can't live without her? That's odd cause your still alive... You don't NEED anyone to be alive its just hormones and emotions getting to you.

Heres a hint, no one is perfect for anyone. If that were the case relationships would not need work and would be effortless. Chase your goals first thats my advice or you will waste a ton of time on someone who does not care for you. You say your 2 years younger then her making you 14.... dude you got plenty of time. This is not the end you will find a LOT better ones down the road. From what I've seen stay away from the young ones they don't know what they want hence why she has slept with 4 boys.

It's all lust in teen years thats all it is. Get ready for a fun ride of deception lol. Some people get lucky and marry their highschool sweetheart and it lasts, but there is a HUGE majority of them who won't last. And she does not fit the type of someone who would last long in a meaningful relationship.

I simply was pointing out that I think he should try to avoid the girls that are loose enough to sleep with 4 guys in that short of a period of time at their age. I don't think guys should do that either and the same standard would apply if a girl were asking this same question.

Yeah honestly, your first instinct that she scares you because of her sleeping with 4 guys... it's a great thing. You immediately distanced yourself. I think, if she makes you feel uncomfortable in anyway, you're better off passing on this one. I'd probably be a hypocrite for saying something like that, since I've liked people that made me uncomfortable. But I didn't love her. I might have felt like I did. But I only liked her because I was attracted to her. That's what you're doing right now. You're attracted by her personality(or her first impression on you anyway ) Anyway, like everyone's been saying, slept with 4 guys? Red flag. WAVING red flag. It's like a flashing, waving red flag(sparkly, shiny, whatever gets your attention ), fluttering around right in front of your face lol. The fact is, if she's involved in something like that, stay away from her. If you're not up for that type of thing(In my opinion, you really shouldn't be doing that type of thing until marriage), don't get involved.
Oh, and that whole "perfection" concept? It happens to everyone Trust me, there's someone better for you out there. I know how you'd feel about this. I still have trouble getting over someone, I thought that person was "perfect." The fact that she makes me somewhat uncomfortable, that's how I know she's not perfect for me. You admitted that she scared you. Your girlfriend/mate/whatever it is you want to call it, she's not supposed to scare you. This is how you know she's not the right girl for you.

I'm not saying it couldnt work, but that there are alot of people you could meet so keep an open mind.
Now I personally dont think you should worry about the sex stuff as who knows the circumstances around her sleeping with these guys.
Just because she has had sex 4 times and she's 16 doesnt mean she's a whore.
I'm not saying throw caution to the wind and sleep with her or anything, just that give it a chance, talk to her and see how things feel.
If you instantly clicked with her then ever think it's just someone elses standards and opinions about sex that are putting you off?
She could be your dream girl, or she could turn out to be one of your best friends.
The point is you get along with her, so she is worth the effort to get to know better, even if you dont end up going out.

Another thing to keep in mind is where are you getting this information from.
If it has come directly from her then fine, but if it is from a third party they might have an ulterior motive.
Example, they might want to get with her but think you will get in the way, so they say something that might put you off so you are out of the picture.
Or that person might want to put you off her so that they can try and get with you.
Just something random to think about as well, lol

Good point by DH again Sometimes its hard to convince people who are in relationships of the other cheating. I tried convincing a chick once that her boy friend was cheating on her and she obviously did not take my word for it so it eventually smacked her in the head later on in life

Its hard to tell though at times cause many people do lie about things so I would recommend doing what DH said, do the research. But that itself is going to be a big task can't really go up to her and ask if she slept with 4 guys... but I guess that depends on the person some people might like to brag about that kind of thing

My opinion? Giant red flag waving in your face. A girl that young sleeping around that much? Especially if it's scaring you, that's a sign that she might not stay faithful. It's impossible to tell now, but you also don't know if 4 is all... I suggest talking to her. If she's interested in you, try and find her intentions, and see if you still think it can work.
