I have a friend, and she deosn't believe you should call somone your best friend. Not that she's mean, but because she sais the term: "best friend" means everyone else is not as great, so instead she just calls people who are her best friend and good friends, plain old good friends. Now I think you can have more than one best friend and say all of these people are my best friends, that way no one feels bad, like her idea, BUT also everone feels great. I don't know, do you think you can call more than one person your best friend?

Well best friend is never used in its literal meaning. Best friend is just a term of endearment(cant...spell) So I think you can have more than one "best friend" as long as you have more than one friend.
