I'd rather have a public school, just because I'll have friends to talk to and I've heard if you attend private school you can't get a high school diploma. I want a high school diploma, but on some ooccasions private school could be good to attend, that when people get to start fighting, if your in private school there is no fighting no fussing no bad stuff happening.

I went to a public elementary, middle, and high school. I go to a private college now though. I like it, less people means more face to face time with the professors unlike at my high school where I was lucky if my teachers knew my name. Although it can be annoying seeing the same people everyday.

I go to a public school but I also go to college part time because I have half days. So I go to high school from 7:17am to 10:25am and then I leave for college which starts at 12pm and goes until 3:15pm (but its two college classes). My public school though really isn't that good because the staff there always mess up peoples schedules and have loads of rules. Thats why I like my college classes better!..Not as many strict rules. Plus no ANNOYING PRINCIPAL! Ugh! She's really bad!

I went to public school, and it was okay. I could have been better, but there are worse schools in the area so I don't really care. Most private schools are either religious or for the super rich in Southern California... or Art Schools, so there was never a chance for my going there. I have seen some of the local high schools around here, and they all appear public from what I can tell. I don't know if I would want to teach at a private school... it might be nicer. I suppose it depends on the school.

Public school. Our school is very ghetto and bad as a whole, like many of the schools around us, but the top people at the school are the best at what they do. Our cheerleaders often place in national competitions, we have a pretty awesome AP program, a strong IB program, an AMAZING Academic Decathlon program, etc.

I went to public school for both elementary and secondary (high school). It wasn't bad, I don't dislike school by any means.

Overall, I felt that elementary school was a waste of time. If I had children I would home school them until about grade eight or nine because it is more efficient.

And if they didn't feel that they needed a high school diploma to be successful at their career choice (I know plenty of successful and perfectly normal people who "dropped out"), then I would not force them to go learn something that is of no value to them. I would have them focus on their passion.
