I am using the game boy color plugin and while I am in a battle it saves at the start of each battle. If this is a glitch, is there any way to fix it? Or if it's a function, Is there any way to turn it off?

I've had the same problem. I tried to post a thread with this information a day ago, but it doesn't seem to have worked (it never appeared on the thread list). Sorry in advance to the moderators if this ends up being posted twice.


I tried playing Pokémon Crystal recently. Outside of Pokémon battles (in the game) there is no trouble. During battles, the game saves automatically after each time my Pokémon attacks. Also, when I load my saved game, the program loads at the last time I willingly chose to save rather than loading a more recent autosave. It is just annoying that the game pauses to save so often. I would like to know whether this a setting that I can change and, if so, how?

I use Google Chrome for my browser. When I run Pokémon Crystal, my color scheme switches to Windows Vista Basic, but I doubt that is part of the problem. I previously downloaded the plugin so I could play "Fire Emblem - Seisen no Keifu (translated)" for SNES. I just uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin (Vizzed RGR Plugin - version 1.01). The problem didn't go away.
