Does anyone know where I can find a program to layer photos so that if I put them in a game there will be movement? For example ssb nes lets say you make a custom character. But there is only one frame for your photo and you can only have one picture for it. I need a program where you can put photos together basically. So I need a free frame maker thingy do you know a program I can use?

I think that your looking for a .GIF animator, which is a bit different than a layer based image editing program. The only one I can think of is the built in image editor in Game Maker 8. This might work for you. If anyone finds a good one, let me know too, because I always like to try new programs for what I do regularly.

I was thinking you might need a gif animator, but then thought about it and games that use a tileset dont use animated gifs.
But I suppose it all depends on what type of game you are making, whether or not they use a standard tileset..
But in any case, a quick, free gif animator can be found in the form of Microsoft GIF Animator.
