Ok, I want to bump my Final Boss Fights 1 topic, cause it is getting a bit stale. But it's not letting me. Thats why I think we should be able to bump after a week has passed with no activity. It gets annoying when your favorite topics are not getting any attention and you can't post in it cause you were the last poster. So, should we, or should we not?

i think the idea has some merit. Although like most ideas I think it should be trusted members and above that get the ability. I don't want to see someone being able to post in their own thread once a week just to get it bumped back up to the top.

I also think you should only be allowed to double post once. If after that your thread still fails then tough luck.

But I think the idea has some use. Just not sure exactly how I want it handled.

yeah... the trouble is that making it only certain forums might make it more difficult..

or, possibly easier... not really sure. That's up for David to deal with. That is one of the forums that could really use this feature though.

IMO if the thread didn't get posted on then there is probably a good reason for it. Mostly likely no one was interested in it and shouldn't be bumped back to the top only to have user ignore it again. It would also quickly push new posts that were just created towards the bottom.
