The only way to trade Pokemon in games on the site is to do it within your game. If you're talking about trading with other members, you won't be able to do that.

Sadly, you'll have to make do with whatever in-game trades you have in the game on this site. If you're playing with a cartridge of an older game that isn't Wi- fi compatible (basically, everything besides Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, Heart Gold, and Soul Silver), you'll have to use a link cable and physically link your Gameboy to another to trade. (meaning you would need two gaming systems and two cartridges that are compatible. Red, Blue, Yellow, Gold, Silver, and Crystal are all compatible, while Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Fire Red, and Leaf Green are compatible with each other but not the previous group.)
