I don't collect them so much as I have them. I usually bought the systems near their release dates (N64, Game Boy Pocket, etc.) but now they are considered old. So in a respect, you could say that I technically collect retro games.

My story is similar to iBOCKs.
I dont buy old games as much as I used to, but I did buy alot when said consoles and games were being sold in stores. ya I'm definitely one. I picked up Chrono Trigger, Secret of Mana, and Zelda for SNES last year. More recently I picked up every main pokemon game (not puzzle league or trading card of game). I really wanted to buy a Dreamcast off my friend, but I found out his mother gave it away... that was a disappointment. Money has been getting tight so I haven't bought any retro games recently, but I did pick up Metal Gear Solid 4 (it was $17 and I didn't own it just borrowed it), Final Fantasy 13 ($45 and 30% off that, also never owned but borrowed) and Starcraft 2! I thought I was a casual gamer until just now... -------------------- |
