You know I've never thought about that, but your right. When Pokemon evolve they mature and even their personality could change, maybe certain things that bother Scyther doesn't effect Scizor. I've never thought of Scyther and Scizor similar I think they act completely different.

kuro naito : Yeah. I never noticed that until I saw the anime episode that showed that Scyther hates red. I'm okay that Scizor is red, he looks cooler as red than any other color.

Ok, sorry. Had to get that in there. I'm not really sure about that. Maybe Nintendo just thought that a green Scizor would look strange- it does, just think about it. Anyways, it Pokemon. Its not supposed to make sense. After living for a while, a praying mantis is cloaked in glowing light and transforms into a steel infused killer red insect-thing. Killer red-insect thing is somehow hurt more by fire than the praying mantis. It doesn't need to make sense, really, but I think its funny that it doesn't...
