It actually wasn't all that dusty; considering it had been used quite a bit in a dusty unfinished basement for nigh on ten years, it was actually in almost fantastic condition inside.

It had to be before I was 10 because I was using computers when I still was in my first home.  I moved out of that place when I was 10.

My grandfather was a head engineer of IBM he designed the first talking computer and first computer to use CDroms.   So we always got a computer when they came out until my teen years when he retired.  It was fun I remember using a joystick to make images on the screen.   Most kids my age never even heard of a computer so I was way advanced for my age~

I had one of the only home computers in town that I was aware of since they were really expensive toys back then. $1,200 back then is equal to around $2,800 today (value of a dollar over time.) That is a lot to pay for something that had less power or memory than any electronic toy for a baby that costs only $20 now.

cd/programfiles/sierra/kq1, the command to get a dos based PC to run kings quest, that is if you put it in the programfiles folder.  I was born in 1980 that game was like 88' so around 8 years old for my first PC and I was about 15 when I got AOL and started messing with the poor chat room folks.
