They aren't sure when they are coming out, but it's likely to be late this year. Fall or early winter. October, maybe. I'm guessing the English version will come in February or March. =O

I'm never too fond of hacks, but they do have some perks that don't happen in the real games. For instance, you can catch every legendary (maybe even every Pokemon, period) in Ruby Destiny, but you can only catch a handful in the actual games. However, this can sometimes make the plot boring. You spend almost the entire game catching legendary after legendary, or the plot is pretty much never ends. However, hacks like Ruby Destiny are nice to play so you can catch pokemon you normally couldn't either.
Pokemon Black or White will be released in Japan in the Fall, I believe. The new anime arc for said series is also being released in the Fall, so it makes sense for the games to be releases at around the same time.
