I think the old southpark is better since there was just more classic humor involved that took thought rather thn new southpark which is overly offensive and goes more into the too soon factor.

i disagree i find the new south park more enjoyable the way it relates its episodes to current events and how others can blow things out of proportions, even though it can cross the line from humor to offensiveness.

I like both for diferent reasons.

The older seasons of south park had some funny adventures, and I think alot of the voices were done better especially cartmans.

The newer ones I like because they are more smart and well written, and make fun of things that are happening currently.

The new episodes are amazing!!
They really show us how stupid we can be as a civilization sometimes.
They may "go a bit too far" a bit more than they used to, but it's for the sake of comedy.

I wouldn't be able to say which I like better but I can definitley say I cannot wait till fall when the new episodes are released!

I kinda gave up on South Park now when Comedy Central actually pussified that Muhammad episode.

The old episodes of South Park were REALLY good, especially how it wasn't exactly about pop culture events that happened out there.

I never cared for south park originally, from the first few seasons. It's their later seasons that sparked an interest. I enjoy the new episodes better because I like how they make fun of real life events. However, as mentioned, they sometimes push the envelope a bit too far. It's like putting salt on food, a little bit is good, but if you over do it then it just ruins the meal.

I'm a fan of the whole series, but I do lean more towards the newer episodes. With the way they produce the show it's genius to make fun of real world events a week after they happen. It keeps it very fresh, and they do a great job of ripping into everyone. I love how they won't spare a single event too. They really help to point out just how isolated and idiotic people can be sometimes.
