uzay2000 : I can relate to wanting to amerce in nostalgia. I admit freely that I am an 80s mark to my core and firmly believe that a good majority of the things that have happened whether it be games, music, movies etc. that it is either inspired or an out right knockoff of the 80s. I will admit that technology is in certain ways better than it was 25 yrs ago but, I think that in terms of music especially that the music of today is no where near what it was back then and it seems quite generic.

Maybe it is the writer in me but I am not a fan of covers in music and really have no love for remakes when it comes to movies either with a few exceptions. The sad thing is the lack of originality seems to be making it’s way into television with the remake of Hawaii Five-O starting soon. I’m surprised they haven’t tried to come up with at the least some remakes or continuations of characters from 80s sitcoms.

I know they did a few spin offs but there are a few sitcoms that I would like to see revived. Maybe just maybe it would limit the reality TV craze.

IanBrazen : You’re quite welcome… I am currently in between work but I am a boxing writer and have written for The Fist magazine out of Australia as a U.S. Correspondent as well as other publications. I will let you know when I am working again so you can read my stuff… I have also considered covering Mixed Martial Arts but boxing will always be my primary sport though I do watch all combat sports closely.

I had some weird/unlikely ones around Kindergarten. There was being pro-golfer (which to this day I still have no idea where that came from), a "muscle man," President, etc. One day my Mom told me to give her friend's kid something (he was in my class, but, we weren't really friends yet). I remember that he liked Mega Man, so, I drew Mega Man and Proto Man having a fight. I remember that I made myself the one shooting the other guy that was supposed to represent him (can't recall who was who though). And my Mom told me that he liked it. I guess that's what got my drawing started. I really want to do something that is art related. I wanted to be a professional sketch artist for the police. When I went to visit college, however, I found out that there is in fact not a class dedicated to that. I did some research and discovered that you really kinda just show up and ask if they need a sketch artist for hire. Psychology is a good thing to know as well. The woman told me that they have a computer program that does it automatically now and that crushed me. I delved further to discover that it takes about as long to do it by the program. I also read that they actually prefer professionals. It looks more realistic and complete I guess. I'm still holding strong though.

Astronaut for me, but instead I'm studying for a degree in aerospace engineering and a degree in mechanical engineering (dual degree program FTW). Though, as more of a 'dream job', like one I was always intrigued by but will never have, special forces. Something about the courage and sacrifice it takes to devote one's entire life to such risky military service appeals to me, but two knee surgeries before I turned 17 sort of put an end to that aspiration... oh well, Lockheed Martin pays better.

My dream job is to become a concept artist for whatever(video games, anime, manga, anything!) because I really enjoy drawing and sketching and have been doing it for as long as I can remember now. I think I'm pretty good now and I get a lot of support from friends and family but I still know that I need to improve a great deal. In fact my user picture is a drawing I did, and it turned out better than most, in my opinion, which is why I chose it over the others. I'm striving to reach my goal and won't quit til I make it a reality.

noelia : Well it was from a manga I seen a long time ago so I don't remember the name. I just drew what I remembered it looking like, and it came out pretty good in my opinion. I mostly freehand, and I like to use reference pictures every now and then to get a feel for a particular artist style and then try to do my own style based off of theirs.

I, like noelia, love animals (more than people actually, because most of the people in my life are scum) but I'd never want to become a vet. Think about it. If a dog gets hit by a car, you have to treat it and see the poor pup be very hurt, and possibly die. I'm too much of a wuss to go through with that I want to be either a lawyer or a psychiatrist, because studying the human mind seems interesting to me. Being an astronomer would be cool too, since I've always loved space.

I love listening to music and formulating ideas. I'd love to be a composer, but I've tried it, and I'm really slow at it. That won't prevent me from still holding the dream, though.

I never really knew what I wanted to do until I was a Junior in high school. Partway through my Junior year I started helping teach at karate. A few weeks after I started, I decided that I loved teaching and helping people and I could definitely do that for the rest of my life (even if I was teaching something else). It was just so rewarding knowing that I was actually helping them improve their lives.

Now I'm in college. Things have changed and I don't think I'm going to teach. After the time I've spent on Vizzed, I'm considering something that has to do with programming. I've gotten a lot better at making profile layouts, so I'm really looking forward to JigSaw's new setup. I've also tried hacking FireRed. I'm working on a few little ideas, but trial and error is difficult because I have to restart each time I make a change. The old save file exists, but it retains the information from the ROM from before I changed it.

I wouldn't say programming is my dream, but I think I could do it.

Thanks to this site (as well as the baseball blogs that I often visit) I would also be content in a job that would require good writing or at least someone with a strong mindset in an English major (hopefully my new major!)

Pen me down for something involving writing, art, or some form of creative whateverit'scalled.

Well as for a 'dream work' my plan was always to enlist in the Marine Corps. I tried to do so when I was 19 and passed the AF Qualifying Test by 15 points above the requirement. However, my status at the time (legal issues) hindered me. By the time I was able to enlist, I lost the motivation. Reason being is I've been doing construction jobs all my life, and when it came down to it to enlist, I was just worn out from taking orders to step up to boot camp.

So 7 years have passed and still doing construction work, however just last year I attended a tech school for HVAC-R and completed it after 9 months. As of now, I'm working as an on-call technician, and it's way better than construction. It's not manual-labor intensive at all. So I suppose my current job has become the equivalent of a dream job - it's working smarter, not harder (lame motto, but true).

I want to either do something involving web development or video game development. Both are great things that I like to do, yet the video game part I have yet to successfully do . But with web development, I'm actually quite good with. When I went to the tech to try out the class for it, the teacher was kinda surprised that I already knew how the HTML coding, that we were doing, worked.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.

We prioritize the community over the site profits.  This is why we avoid using annoying (but high paying) ads like most other sites which include popups, obnoxious sounds and animations, malware, and other forms of intrusiveness.  We'll do our part to never resort to these types of ads, please do your part by helping support this site by adding Vizzed.com to your ad blocking whitelist.
