I havent written any type of story since I took my ged test. lol
But this is for some game I play. I thought I would just make a short story but then I really started to get into it. So tell me what you think.

BTW: its a zombie apocolypse survival type of game

Character bio on: Tone-Tone

Tone's early life was set in the streets of Southern California. Hustling from a young age he was a constant visitor to the county jail. Over the years his crimes grew into larger, more serious offenses. Which eventually landed him 2 strikes and 5-10 sentence in Folsom. During his stay in prison he had entered into a labor program for farming. He found himself to be enjoying the work very much, even though there was no pay he found himself going back to his cell feeling accomplished each day. So upon his release he felt that things were going to be diferent when he returned home. He felt relieved as he boarded the greyhound bus for home.



When he arrived home it seemed it was only weeks before everything had picked up right were it left off. He needed money and there was no legal way of getting it. So he decided to himself that he could do one more big job and maybe have enough money to get out of the state. Seeing as how if he stays he'll prolly just end up getting his 3rd strike anyways...........................will be in the chronicles of tone...................................So he was now headed to Westwick, a rural farming town about 50 miles outside of Fairview.



His life seemed to be going great for the first time in Westwick. He had met a beautiful woman in the town while he was getting supplies. She was a scientist at the Necronym facilities. They later got married and had a baby girl. Later in the years his farm had been doing great growing both legal and some not-so legal crops, as was his wifes career now one of the leading scientists at Necronym.



But as time went his wife seemed to be more stressed out, she was spending much more time at the facilities and when she was home she seemed very nerved about something. Then one day she tells Tone that she is going to quit her job. He thought this was great . So the next day she returns from her final day at work telling Tone the story of how she told her boss she quits. They enjoy the rest of the day talking about the future and plans for their daughter, who is quickly approaching high school.

The day is over and they goto bed, both eagerly awaitng the next day.



That night Tone is awaken by his wife violently shaking, he has no idea whats going on he calls 911. By the time the paramedics arrive it was to late she died there right in his arms. The autopsy revealed she had died of a brain aneurysm. Weeks after her death there are news reports that four other leading scientists at Necronym had died from the same cause. Necronym had said that this was possibly due to a chemical leak that the scientists may have encountered, but this was criticized becuase only the lead scientists were affected. ton was just worried about moving on and raising his daughter.



8 years went by, and things seemed to return to normal. Tones daughter was now in college studying to become a scientist like her mother. Tones farm had become the best farm around. He made a killing at farmers markets with his organic crops. One day his daughter came by the farm and told Tone that Necronym had offered her a internship and she wanted to take it. He didnt like the idea at first but she pleaded with him that this is what she wanted to do. So he accepted her decision.



One day tone recieved a frantic call from his daughter:

"PLEASE HEEELLLLP"

It had begun.

Did her daughter die as well?

So wait, i don't get what you mean by "a story for a game you're playing."
Are you making a game and writing the story? I don't understand... :/ lol

The game already exists. Its called Dead Frontier, I just wrote a story about the character I play in the game. Becasue alotta people on there roleplay and what not.(i dont really RP, i just wanted my character to have his own story)

Im planning on writing the "Chronicles of Tone" which would consist of 3 short stories starting from when I do the "big job"(1st), then my trials and tribulations of farm life(2nd) lol, and then the search for my daughter(3rd).

This is the first story I ever wrote outside of any kind of school, which was weird becuase I thought I hated writing. But when you can write about anything and say anything its pretty cool.

That's exactly what I thought about writing at first. But then I thought about writing my own story. And now I'm doing that. I've written 13 chapters of a story called "Acts of Redemption". I've been working on it since last year.
It's nice to write when you can just put down your imagination or your emotions onto paper or on the computer isn't it?

^^^Yea I was surprised to find myself really enjoying it.

Btw that is a pretty cool title, "Acts of Redemption".

Lol thanks . Maybe I should put it on here. But I already posted a link to my deviantART in an older thread. The point of the last one was to have people try to read my story, but only one person replied to it lol. Would i be breaking the rules if i just posted another thread, but this time with the text of the first chapter of the story on here, rather than just a link to my deviantART?

It was called "My story on deviantART". there wasn't even more than 20 views :/ So i thought maybe it would be a better idea if i posted a new thread with the chapter on there instead of a link to my deviantART

LOL, I can see where this story is headed. I like it. I never played Dead Frontier though.
