That right the program everyone hates and the one that spams and locks up your CPU actually did something right. Incase you didn't know a deadly virus has been going around google chrome well this hit me 5 min ago I had it for 3 seconds than it got blocked thanks to smart fire wall. BOOM YOUR DEAD! My question is have you gotten this virus if so did your security system block it? |

Well, I wasn't affected as I was using Firefox, but my friend said that he had a virus of that sort appear on his computer, he was using IE. Lucky for me .

I dont know theyre is some kind of trojan thats been popping up on my comp. But it says its already been deleted. happens like 2 times a week so i dont know lol

Well, chrome is pretty much impenetrable by malicious code and such. Unless the user downloads a file that contains a virus deliberately through it, then chrome won't let anything through.
It has tight security.

Firefox>chrome. I Like chrome too. It's very very fast. But Fire Fox is has many many many plugins and addons. And is slightly safer. Plus there are more Fire Fox friendly sites then Chrome friendly sites. Anyway, no I haven't had that virus. I'll do a scan right now to be on the safe side.

Just to tell dm I heard this over the news about google chrome and the trjan virus thing well that is the virus or the first stage. Anyway It's funny that vizzed board gives out trojan viruses than. Because it happened on vizzed. Anyway thats not true what I just said I was just making a point anyway the virus that was blocked had a google address. Yes it was official. |
