Since that feature became available, I reallized that a lot of people are trying to post more in order to see their name italiced.

I definitely think that it will boost the post count a bit, because people want to see their name as something special. However, I think it'll go back to normal soon, once the novelty of it wears off.

I noticed that too, and I've been wondering about it since you hit 25, a few hours ago. I think there might be an error with the system, because mine wasn't italicised until I got to 26, nor was noelia's. And geeo's still isn't...

I could offer additional benefits to reaching 25+ posts per a day. But yeah, most new members are going to work for it which is what we want, we want them to get into posting.

The system does need a little fixing, I think the different time zones is what's messing it up.

EDIT: It's based on the user's time zone so the user has to get 25 posts since midnight their time.

That's a possibility but I was thinking something along the lines of some sort of benefit during battles (when we have the battle arena). Like if you have at least 25 posts for the day, you get a special attack or your energy (aka mp) might be higher, different possibilities.

I just came back after missing a few days on vizzed, and now everyone's names are all different and I'm falling behind in the VCS D: So much can change in one day T_T I don't think seeing my name in italics will get me to post more though, since it's just a font and if it happens, it happens.

Yep, the "Italic Usernames" makes poster motivated to post. Who doesn't want their name to be different and cooler than anyone else.

The adding of Vizz also makes people more motivated to post, especially the ones who play games.
