Did you know that Lara Croft's bust size was originally much smaller but one of the grafic artists designing her (Toby Gard) accidentally increased her bust size by 150% and as he was changing it back all the other team members pressured him to keep it so he did. Hence the Lara we all know today.

Did you know that during the making of Dungeon Siege, The creator not only was short on the funding to make the game but that he had to sell his house and most everything that he owned to fund it. After Dungeon Siege came out, He made far more back than he put into it though. He profited about $10.2 million dollars in the first year.

that actually means nothing rpg means you take role of a fantasy character usually with a party of followers, and stratagy means usually turn based war style game

also mario was originally called "Jump man" back in the first donkey kong game (the one with the barrels and the hammer)

Strategy also is applied to multiplayer games like mario party because it is "outthinking" or just plain old beating someone siting next to you.

There is also a brand of rpg that is a stretch to name rpg. Older games on computers where you basically just read words that appeared on screen and then typed your own stuff. Not really rpg, but hey whatever tickles ppl's fancies.

The Secret Of Monkey Island came with a code-wheel copy protection system, in which you had to mix and match pirate faces and assemble their names. It was taken out of future releases as it proved too annoying.

That has nothing to deal with the thread topic.

Did you know that if you get 999,999 points in tetris, you see an animation of a space rocket launching?

In Pokemon Emerald, when you talk to the Berry Master's wife, a berry phrase for a completely random berry is 'Going Ghost' from the Nickelodeon show 'Danny Phantom.' Betchya didn't see that one coming!

Zelda: Ocarina of Time breaks new records and outsells Hollywood blockbuster movie A bug's life!
Zelda : Ocarina of Time is the fastest selling video game of all time.
During it's first month of release it earned $150 million dollars with 2.5 million units sold.
The game also generated more retail revenue during the last six weeks of 1998 than any Hollywood movie did during the same period of time. The top grossing movie during that time period was A Bug's Life, but that movie didn't earn more than $114 million. The new Zelda game also became the most sold videogame of all in 1998, despite the fact that the game only was available the last 39 days of the year.

I once heard that Pac-Man was originally called Puck Man, but they changed the name after people went into stores changing the P to an F with markers. Don't know if it's true, but at least it's entertainment

Yeah, that original game was the first of the "Mother" series, and in that game, the main character was named Ninten.

the Nintendo 64DD had the RandNet service. Sthe RandNet service allowed gamers to compete against each other online, play new unreleased games before they hit the stores, surf the Internet, listen to music online, and much more. The RandNet Starter Kit came packaged with 64DD machines and included everything a gamer would need to access the service (the subscription cost was ¥2500 per month; equivalent to about US $27.97)

In the first fallout game if you give your character less then 4 intelligence points the only way you can talk to people is by grunting noises making the game almost impossible to finish that way.

Final Fantasy 2 on the SNES, is actually the fourth installment. The number was changed to avoid confusion in the American markets as Final Fantasy 2 and 3 were not released in America at that point.
