Have you ever met someone or saw someone and wished you had known her/him better because you sort of liked her/him? Especially if you wouldn't see that person again? That just happened to me recently and I feel pretty bummed out , so I was wondering if anyone else had this kind of experience before.

I had an experience like yours in the past, it was horrible.
But I think that when you found some obstacles in your life, it's for a good reason.
Imagine if you had something with her and this didn't have a good ending..., you should tell yourself that maybe it's better this way.
I believe that there is a bigger plan for all that happen in our life, even if these are bad things.
So, don't worry. I'm sure that your true love is about to come in your life sooner or later

Yeah we had a church lock-in, so there was people from a different church. I doubt i'd see her again. :/
Noelia, you're right though. I know I experience a lot of bad things in life and they just end up making me more prepared for other bad things that might come at me. And even though know my true love will come sooner or later, i'd really like to at least meet her really soon lol

Knew the guy for years but didn't really talk to him because we ran in different circles, yet when s*** was going down he was the only person in his little popular crowd that was nice to me. That was at the end of 8th grade and that summer he moved to Mexico and I never saw him again. I always felt like I missed out on at the very least a nice friendship because we never got to talk.

If you don't like losing your chance, you have to take initiative. Girls like feeling wanted, so if you go for it you can't lose. Either she'll appreciate that you think she's so special you overcame your shyness to ask her out, or she'll reject you, and you either never had a chance with that stuck up snob, or you'll never see her again so who cares?

It takes a bit of bravery, but it's better than missing your chance and feeling like you missed out on something great, or having to watch her with some other guy for a few years.

I've been devastated before because of missing my chance, and so I've learned that a few minutes of awkward uncomfortableness is a lot better than years of lamenting and suffering.
