Exactly! I mean she should know you care for her, but she doesnt seem to be caring for you at all by not contacting you so its pretty much all on her

I understand the predicament you're in.

But to be "best friends" with someone you really like (in a romantic sense) is not a good situation.

I once had a friend who was a girl, and for at least a year we became "best friends" all the while I was actually falling for her without knowing. I would simply hide it with words like "friendship" and such. I only realized this when she started liking this other guy. As she started liking him more and more, she started acting less like "best friends" with me. I then realized that really, we were more than best friends (well at least on my end). I then tryed to get her to act more like my "best friend" (aka girlfriend) by doing stuff with her (aka trying to date). It ended bad for everyone.

Don't be like me and try to hang out longer than you should. I'm not saying to break off your friendship, but honestly look into yourself and figure out if "best friends" is just code for wannabe girlfriend. She's not talking to you ask much because she doesn't like you the way you like here... and how is that a balanced relationship? Maybe you should try to let go... Sorry.

Light Knight : but see, I was friends with her before hand. I don't think when I was in 4th or 5th grade I became her friend just because I wanted to be her girlfriend... that doesn't seem likely. We were friends for a while now, but now we're states apart and all that. So, I still wanted to keep in contact with her since she's a friend, but she doesn't really talk to me that much anymore.

i suggest tryin to loose any feelings you had for that person and start lookin for someone else early or u might loose your intrest in certain types of people and might get desperate
