I'd say either The United States or Switzerland would be the safest because the US promotes human rights and Switzerland for some reason has been able to stay out of every major war. I don't if Switz. just cuts deals with these guys or what. As for most dangerous, I would say its a tossup between half the middle east. But I'll go with Iran because I hear about its problems the most.

The murder rate in the US is one of the highest in the "western" world. Sure, it's safer than places where there is no rule of law or standard police force, but when it comes to western countries it is not even close to being the safest.

i think Finland is the safest country in the world. they have the lowest crimerate for 1, there druggies arnt out trying to score theire dope instead theres a clinic for that, also they are a socialist country so the laws are carried out by the citizens... and their armed forces are pretty elite.

Well I thougt Iceland was one of the safest countries in the world. No enemies, no guns (exept for hunting animals), few serious crimes (although a man was murdered yesterday, murders are ultra rare in Iceland) and we don't even have an army.
