What countrie do you think is the most safest? and what countrie do you think is the most dangerous? and would you vist the most dangerous countrie? or would you be to scared? and please explain why you picked those countries to be the safest and the most dangerous.

I personally think that Canada is one of the safest countries in the world. We're under the military umbrella of NATO which includes the US. Not likely to get attacked by any other country

But, it's also generally a safe place. Crime rates are pretty low. Gangs and organized crime is rare. It's just a safe place to be.

Columbia is suppose to be one of the deadliest places on earth, has most deaths and crime. Or maybe the list I saw was outdated, can't remember.

USA should be up on the list for unsafe places, safe as a country maybe but not as a individual person your not Lots of crime goes on here.

And yea Canada is suppose to be one of the safest places if not safest from what I've heard.

They say Canada and the Scandinavian countries are very safe.

The middle east and central and south America can be brutal. Like Jigsaw said, colombia is really bad. It's pretty much runned by druglords.

I believe the same thing. I was watching that Michael Moore film and they were in Canada and people be leaving there houses unlocked, and all types of stuff. Just seems more peaceful in Canada, they pretty much mind there business and you never hear about anything catastrophic happening there.

I've also heard that Canada is a safe place, but I don't think that there are really safe countries. Because we will never know where somebody is going to strike!
But I totally agree with you guys that middle east is more dangerous than any place on earth

I also think that Canada would be one of the safest countries, but I believe that England is high up there too, because you don't really hear of many bad things happening there.

And most of the middle east countries are very dangerous right now.

While I'm sure there are still some Canadians is some towns that leave their doors unlocked, even in tiny towns (like where I am now) most people lock-up. And there's a surprising amount of crime for it's size.

I still think Canada is one of the safest countries out there, but just thought you should know we don't all leave our doors unlocked.

Italy or Japan are probably the most dangerous, due to the conflicting mafia affiliates there.

I'll have to agree though, Canada seems pretty freakin' safe. The United States can have really high crime and really low crime, just depending on the region/city. I live in a ridiculously safe city in California right now, but I grew up in a really criminally-active one so I think it just kind of depends.

I think that Canada is the safest country. Global Warming has literally no affect on it (It only makes life warmer), and it's not like United states is going to declare some kind of war (But if they did, Canada would get cornered, as the U.S also owns Alaska). But still, I think that it's a really safe country.

I believe Switzerland would be one.
I've been there and I didn't know of any crime because of the defence/police forces.
And they are a neutral country which means no one is allowed to attack them (which obviously wouldn't stop anyone if they wanted to so I don't know why they bother)
They also have a crazy army and they even have a navy even though they are surrounded by land around all there borders

yea crime wise america isnt the safest but if any country had the nerve to try to screw with us........... oh i just feel terible for them look at japan and that was in the 1940's imagine what we could do now.!!!!

I would say that the safest country would be the arctic, antarctic, Greenland, and Iceland. Nobody cares about those countries! They're never in the news, except for when Iceland clones sheep. And who's going to attack a bunch of sheep, goats, and ice? They're too boring to be worth terrorizing. No offense to anyone who lives there, living in a boring country is a good thing.

According the global police crime index, Norway is the safest country in the world. They attribute it to its almost 100% literacy rate and low unemployment rate. They also have a pretty good socialized health care program, unlike many other countries who messed that idea up. RIP American health care system. I think America or Canada are also pretty safe places. I have been to Canada a few times and it seems pretty similar to where I live...except for more expensive cigarettes, booze, and gas. The problem is they are such large countries crime differs in every area. I grew up in small town Wisconsin. If you left stuff unlocked, it was most likely going to be there when you got back. If you left your car unlocked in an intercity area of Los Angeles, Houston, etc it probably wont. It might not even matter if you locked it or not.

And for dangerous, I would say Somalia or Afghanistan. Terrorist groups are a big player in that. I was reading some stuff on Forbes about Afghanistan and I guess even since the war the number of foreign visitors hasn't fallen. Also there is still a good amount of foreign investment interest in the country. The companies just have to provide their own security
Columbia, Haiti, Yemen, Russia(parts), Pakistan and TONS of African countries are going through continual civil unrest (Like Chad, Congo, Sudan, etc.) So stay out of the Middle East, Africa, and some Central and South American countries and you will be just fine.

Norway is a very safe country it's almost kinda boring living in Norway and where I live it never happens anything!

The most dangerous countries are in the middle east, I think.

I would say a country like Sweden. They never appear on the news for corrupt government, financial crisis, or violence, and they have Swiss Cheese. (What's not to like?)
Also, I think Singapore is pretty safe. They have loads of technology, a pretty decent health care system (correct me if I am wrong...), and they have a nice, quiet, tropical island to live on. Of course, they are slowly running out of space, but for now, I enjoy the public transportation systems and good police force.
