I think no because it was a fun game to play. At least some people like to play it and enjoy it, I think it was a succesful game then. There are alot of games that are not perfect and are not good as the original, but at least it is fun to play.

Mehhh... Sonic Heroes wasn't exactly a bad game(plus they had Metal Sonic, which to me is an epic win XD). I'd say keep going down the list and start looking at games like maybe Shadow the Hedgehog and Sonic the Hedgehog 2006 where they really started to decline. Shadow the Hedgehog was pretty ok but the whole gun thing was pretty sucky actually. I only wished they could've done a story line that was pretty dark like that again -.-

In all honesty, I never really liked sonic ever. I've played the originals and my parents bought me Sonic and the Secret Rings for wii, and the games are kind of enjoyable, but nothing special. Just my personal opinion, I know that some people really like sonic, but it's just not for me.

In my opinion Sonic went down the drains after the original Genesis games. It was good back when it really didn't have a plot to it and was a side scroller.

I say yes, but to the fans reaction to the game, the fan base were the ones who made it the downfall, not the game itself, besides, many of the people call a game bad because the review says is bad and not many people know how to make their own opinions, this is also another reason for flame wars and arguments on the internet and real life, because one person says "I don't like this" while the other person likes that item, so they end up fighting.


I liked the game though, I like the level design best, rail canyon zone and hang castle zone were really cool, but "Egg fleet" was the best, and coolest level in the entire sonic series.

But I think the newer games had stronger flaws, but I haven't play them yet, so I can't really say so.
