I'd say it's about the same for me.

While it may be slightly more comfortable on the internet I find that communicating exactly how I feel and what I'm thinking is easier in person. I don't like saying the same thing 3 different ways just so that the person on the internet can understand exactly what I'm trying to convey.

Speaking for myself, I say it's the same. I'm use to being around a lot of people, talking, and what not. I come from a big family so it's all the same to me. But I can see why and how it's easier for people to talk to people on the Net.

I don't like talking to people on either, I have very poor social skills, one thing I say can start a war, even if it is "guy A" fighting "Guy B" because of a joke I said.

I am not shy actually, it is the things that come out of my mouth.

At least with typing, I can at least know what I am actually saying, but then I can't use words I want because I don't know how to spell them .

I actually find it easier talking to people in real life... you don't have to worry as much about something being misunderstood because you can use voice inflection and body language to convey the meaning behind the words. I also like to know who I'm talking to, like what they look like and all, it just makes me feel more comfortable.
