Here's a weird question but i'm going to ask anyway i'm not to smart with computers or technology. but i was thinking when people download information to there phones,computers, and anything else you can download stuff to. does the devices get heavier? i know a human whouldn't be able to tell if it got heavier. but if you got a sensitive machine to measure the wight of the device to see if it graduley did maybe you can tell.
P.S. i'm asking if the information you download has a measurment of wight.

hard drives sort information using 0's and 1's. When there is nothing written to a section of a hard drive then it's simply all 0's. When you do write something then the 0's start becoming 1's in such a way that the computer understands the information being saved. So it doesn't get any heavier.... just changes some 0's to 1's
