I've started working about about... 3 days ago. Basically, about 1am in the morning, I do a workout to get my excess energy out, to lose weight, and to get stronger.

My routine every other day:
10 lift-ups with dumbbells set to 10 pounds, 10 sit ups
1 minute with my legs lifted up straight in the air with my legs straight, 10 sit ups

But, my abs have gotten stronger, so I've started to do 20 sit ups. Mind you I've been doing this for 3 days, and my abs are already stronger.

Sounds like one of those infomercials they run all the time on TV

Only 10 sit ups doesn't seem like much of a workout lol, but it seems to be working for you How much weight you need to lose?

Have you ever looked into the P90 (power 90) program? A lot of friends and my dad have all done it, and if you can stay dedicated to it and try your best it works great! My dad doing P90X (the harder more extreme one) combined with the atkins diet (carefully regulated and carefully weaned off) lost over 160 pounds and kept it off!

Good for you!!!
I would suggest you to eat 2/3 of the food that you usually did in the past.
This method really works for me, I've lost ten kilos in 6 months and I didn't excercise at all.
I'm still in shape although I've started this a year ago!
Keep up!!!
You would feel really great when you achieve your goal!
Trust me

JigSaw: Haha, yeah. I dunno... however much weight it takes to get a flat belly. I only weight 136 pounds or so, so it's not gonna be a gigantic amount.

Btowns: Nope, I haven't. Besides, those workouts are for adults, and I'm only 13.

noelia: Thanks That "good for you" just gave me motivation to keep this up. I would eat less, but because I'm 13 and puberty is here, I can't risk less nutrients. Very good advice though. I'm sure that I will feel better after I'm more healthy, which plays a large roll in my wanting this.

Well I would say to try t eat 6 small meals a day. Make them healthy and according to your diet plan. This way your not taking in three big unhealthy meals. Lay-off carbs and fatty foods as much as you can. Always keep your goal in mind and stay motivated.

Well carbs are essential to weight gain. I'm not saying you can eat any, ever. Just restrict yourself from over-eating too much carbs. I would if I were you, do some research on the internet and try t find a good eating plan that's right for you. Because working out good and eating good, work hand and hand when it comes to losing or gaining weight.

Protein>carb when you want to loose weight and gain a bit of muscle.

If you are detemined that you should not eat even a little less, try replacing a little of your carbs by protien.

And watch how much you snack at night! A small little lunch at least an hour before bed is ok, but nothing high-carb.

Don't be a diet crazy guy who can't enjoy food! But be reasonable, and remember proteins are great, and carbs should be cut back.

As for your workout; keep it up. Abs strenthen quicky .

Good job, being fit is something everyone should strive to do, it makes you feel better, increases your health, makes you look good, and can help you later in life when your unhealthy friends are getting heart attacks.

Since you're only 13, your metabolism and puberty in general will work in your favor. Just stay active, keep doing what you're doing, and maybe try and slide in some cardio and you'll definitely be on your way to getting into great shape.

Uhhhh... no, I stopped, but I'm gonna start again. I was at a place where the floor is VERY dirty, so no sit-ups. But I have been doing jumping jacks every other day, so that works out my arms and legs
