I recently got a pretty bad cut (took a chance at a different barber while I was picking something up an hour away from home, was my own fatal mistake) and I'm thinking of just buzzing my whole head this time in order to "reset" it. I realized though that I've never buzzed my hair and gone in public with it (I buzzed my own hair during covid lockdowns, but no one saw me of course). I don't think I look horrible with it, but for as long as I can remember I've always had medium-length hair that usually gets to my neck but does not pass it. If I do decide to go with that, it'll certainly be an adjustment, but for all I know I'll prefer it, so I'm willing to give it a shot.

How about you guys? How long do you typically keep your hair?

I go between several different hair styles I feel like, I always say I want to have my hair long again but anymore my hair doesn't grow as fast as it did when I was a teen so I normally get tired of waiting and cut it and then start the process over. I will say I don't plan on ever having it as short as I did after my last cut again I ended up finding it more annoying than long hair as I had a bit in the front that wanted to stick up that I struggled to do anything with so I just kept having to wet my hair and try to get it to stay down.

I'm bald. I've been balding since I was in my early 20's and looking back I wish I had done this MUCH earlier.

I now have a head shaver thing that I use to shave my head regularly. Sometimes I wait a few days but I try and keep it about as short as possible now. I don't have enough hair on top to really bother.

Instead of having long hair I have a long bear. I've never let it get too long but I think I've had it growing for almost a year straight this time around. It's getting pretty long and I'll likely keep it this length or longer until it becomes unmanageable. I really like the length it is at.

I like it short. I've never liked when it starts growing so much it starts covering my ears and I need to pull it back constantly, and also I don't like when it grows to reach the back of my neck.

I've always loved it short and spiky. When it gets a bit long it starts doing funny things and I don't have a set hairstyle to comb it, so it can get very messy at times. When it just gets too long for my taste I got it cut down to its usual trim.
