The Video Game Music Radio is finally back after being gone for many years and this time it'll actually be 24/7.

You can find the Twitch page here:

For those who don't know what the Video Game Music Radio, it's basically video game music stream that uses music from the Video Game Music Room. It has various themed events, shows screenshots, boxart and videos for each song's game, it gives info about the song, etc. There are "Any Song Request" hours where users can submit song requests that get played in the radio. Then there's the Video Game Music Trivia aspect where users can guess the name of the game the song is from and the quicker they answer correctly, the more points they get, which get added to a leaderboard that is displayed in the stream.

I not only fixed it (it had a lot of issues, and the bot didn't work) but I also made it capable of being being streamed from the server itself which means it doesn't have to be on my computer to be streamed. It being streamed from the server means it can just go for as long as the server goes and it surprisingly isn't using up very much of the server's resources, only using like 5% of the server's RAM and CPU.

The Radio Page itself has had improved functionality. For example, when you're typing in a game to answer the trivia, it'll start to auto populate, making it quicker and easier to answer. The song suggestion also got the same treatment. I've also added a "Stream Control" page for some staff members that gives them info on the stream and a few tools for updating or fixing the stream.

The 'Content Coming Soon' section will most likely be reserved for showing the latest subscriber, latest donator, etc. I might also have it highlight events that take place on Vizzed (for example, if someone gets a post spree, it'd be pretty cool if it showed that). If anyone has any ideas for other things that area could show, let me know.

I've got some future feature ideas to make this page more interactive. I also plan to make it stream to YouTube as well, hopefully in the near future.

If anyone has any feedback or ideas, please let me know.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.

We prioritize the community over the site profits.  This is why we avoid using annoying (but high paying) ads like most other sites which include popups, obnoxious sounds and animations, malware, and other forms of intrusiveness.  We'll do our part to never resort to these types of ads, please do your part by helping support this site by adding Vizzed.com to your ad blocking whitelist.
