Hello, I'm back with a post to say, among other things, that Koei Tecmo (America and Europe) will release a collection of 4 Blue Reflection games soon, it will launch on July 30 next month. The collection will include Blue Reflection, Blue Reflection: Second Light, Blue Reflection Sun turned into a game for consoles and PC with the combat of Blue Reflection: Second Light and some kind of adaption of Blue Reflection Ray also with the combat of Blue Reflection: Second Light. Considering what has been shown, it's possible that Blue Reflection Ray as part of Blue Reflection Quartet will be a condensed version of the story in the anime, and Blue Reflection Sun may be more or less the previously released gacha game without gacha mechanics, less events and a different combat system.

I'll assume you have read my reviews of Blue Reflection and Blue Reflection: Second Light, if not, I highly recommend reading them, they can easily be found on the VGR and speaking of reviews, I also made this post to say that I will not review Blue Reflection Quartet. A genuine surprise I know, I've made multiple posts about Blue Reflection throughout the years and I've mentioned the name ''Blue Reflection'' many times on this site...the thing is, I don't know what'd be the best way to write a review of something that is explicitly a collection, I've written many reviews here on Vizzed...Dark Rose Valkyrie, Otomedius Excellent, Dead or Alive 4, Code of Princess, Super Neptunia RPG, MeiQ: Labyrinth of Death, Sable's Grimoire etc, games that always have at least a little of fan service, yes, but those games are just one game and if they are a collection of two games, the other game is easy to ignore and/or it's unlockable content, which is the case for Mary SKelter 2 for example, Mary Skelter 2 for Nintendo Swtich and PC includes Mary Skelter: Nightmares with new content and ''revamped systems and gameplay'', but Mary Skelter 2 is titled ''Mary Skelter 2'', the name of the game is not ''Mary Skelter 2 + Nightmares'' or anything, so, it's easy to ignore, not to mention the fact that I reviewed the original version for PS Vita beforehand. Vizzed has a template that works for many reviews, it's ''here's the story, graphics, sound, gameplay/addictiveness, difficulty and depth or content'', but if it's a collection of multiple games, how do you do it? How do you write a review? I'm sure more than one person has an answer and it may vary from one user to another, in any case, I'm not interested in trying to review collections of games, so, I'll continue to review individual games and not collections of multiple games. I don't know if this will be disappointing for at least one person but yeah, I won't write a traditional review of Blue Reflection Quartet. That said I plan to make a post about the game after I play it later this year, definitely for one of the forums of Gamers Circle, not a traditional review, but what I think about the game (or games) and what not.

Lastly, something that has to be mentioned...Blue Reflection Quartet will be censored, to make a long story short, it will be censored worldwide including Japan, the censorship will affect only, or at least mostly, the first game Blue Reflection...according to Mel Kishida or the developers themselves, none of the scenes were removed, but they were altered or changed, in scenes where the characters are taking a shower for example, they are now wearing towels, the same towels that were originally released as paid DLC apparently. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I don't agree with censorship of fictional content, in this case video games, I consider myself anti-censorship, but the truth is, Blue Reflection fans like me have been dealing with censorship since the first game in one way or another, Blue Reflection for PS4 and PC is uncensored if we only consider the base game, but the camera of the model viewer is restricted in the west and also the Steam version worldwide. I never reviewed Conception Plus (for example) because it's censored, even though it has English voices which is something I really like, I never bought it because I simply don't want to play the game knowing very well that it's censored...at least Spike Chunsoft was very transparent about that. So, when it comes to the censorship of not just Blue Reflection Quartet, but other games in general, it's a case of ''do you accept it or not?'' and it depends on who you ask, maybe it even depends on the game. I plan to get Blue Reflection Quartet, I'll definitely play it, but I have to admit that I can accept the censorship because I have the previous games physically, I can let it slide because I've already played the original versions of Blue Reflection and Blue Reflection: Second Light, and this (inevitable) censorship is something I disagree with but at least I can play the original versions of some of the games. I wouldn't blame anyone for not wanting to buy or play Blue Reflection Quartet because of the censorship though, especially if one hasn't played the games yet.
