So at this point in the franchise the You Don’t Know Jack people had decided that it was time to do this stuff online, and they figured that maybe some of these questions should be put on a Compact disk as well…..so what was the point?

Gameplay and Story: This game was released after the ride but during the Net show era, however they revert back to the old format (by the way this is the 7th game in the franchise, but it’s a separate canon from the volume listed games…at least that’s what I think) which was everything before the Ride, but if you’ve played this game you’ve played most of the others Cookie is back as the host and well I feel like even though this is an entirely new game there are scraps from Volume three that are clearly visible but I heard that this is mostly best of the net show

Graphics: so this time the game is on a light blue background with Yellow font, and like I said you’ll notice that there are some stuff leftover from Volume 3 that are clearly visible here like they use the same theme for the Dis or Dat it’s like they painted over everything like the segues are a shade of Teal.

Soundtrack: Well a problem I have with the game is that a majority of the default dialogue in the opener is reused from Volume 3 (as I had noticed as we get the same April Fools message), this was also Cookie’s last stand as the host in this era (at least for the time being) after this Schmitty takes over (Cookie does at one point tell Schmitty that I can’t wait til this job is all yours….be careful what you wish for Cookie)

Addictive: As per usual the You Don’t Know Jack can be an addictive game to play once you’ve gotten the hang of it and since they try to add at least something new to the games it makes you want to come back for more

Depth: we return to the old format of a seven or twenty one question game however this is the last time You Don’t Know Jack will do this, after that it’s random episodes or a random episode set. So does Jack add anything new in this game, yes and excuse my language it’s something called pissed about a question, which is based on letters and e-mails from fans that had complained about a question (I don’t think they accept any letters or emails anymore otherwise I’d tear them a new one for calling Carmen Sandiego an irritating kids show on two different games)

Difficulty: at the time I was typing this review I was having gaming season and even so this wasn’t a very difficult game to play but clearly I even though I spent two gaming seasons playing this game I still feel like I haven’t played it enough

Post-review follow up: So this would be the final game that would use the traditional You Don’t Know Jack format after that they stuck to the set amount of questions of at least 15 (or 7 in Lost Gold) even when the Game show became a reality they didn’t even give them a choice, and now I really hate how short this review is because all this is, is essentially a net show version of volume three (with a few differences)
