Today marks the 10-year mark of the day that I registered my account on Vizzed.com. Originally, I joined just to play Pokemon and other retro games. The creation of my own Pokemon ROM hack—which tRIUNE kindly added to the site—led me to discover the forums, and the community that defined much of my middle school and early high school years.

Thanks to everyone that has been a friend to me on here. It's crazy that it's been so long so we used to talk about nonsense for hours, mess around with HTML (and slightly break the website), and hide from the Globals.

I don't really know what else to say. Just wanted to acknowledge the double digits, because it's truly wild for me to think about.

Congrats on the 10 years though. At lot of us are hitting double digits lately. I'm glad you're one of the few who are still active today to see it. Maybe one day our friends will come back to check on vizzed.

SonicOlmstead : It's really not that special lol. I made it when I was 14. Basically just added some Pokemon to the routes and messed with the overworld very slightly.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.

We prioritize the community over the site profits.  This is why we avoid using annoying (but high paying) ads like most other sites which include popups, obnoxious sounds and animations, malware, and other forms of intrusiveness.  We'll do our part to never resort to these types of ads, please do your part by helping support this site by adding Vizzed.com to your ad blocking whitelist.
