This is a topic that I've been thinking about a lot over the last month after people have been pretty disappointed by the customization options in both Harvestella and Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

When it comes to customizing the way your character looks or options for weapons and gears, which games do you think have the best customization options and what do you look for the most in a game in terms of customization?

For me, I love the options in both Diablo 3 and Sword Art Online Hollow Realization but haven't really been able to find any games with that level of customization since then and I'm always looking for more.

I'm not much into customization. Being an old school player, I'm fine with having a standard character and even if I play online I really don't mind much having a standard design. Unless I don't like the standard design or I find a customization that I truly like, I'll leave most things untouched.

The exception to this rule could be Crash Team Racing: Nitro Fueled. Not only do characters have different designs, they sometimes affect victory animations so I could aim for those too. Kart customization could also be nice, but outside of the unlockable classic designs I wonder if I'll aim for anything more like neon wheels and such.

I admit I'm an old school gamer. To me the best game that had the best customizing abilities was Mega Man X3, Mega Man X8 and of course the Mega Man legends series.

In Mega Man X3 you can get special upgrades. What you get is up to you. Each upgrade does special things.

In Mega Man X8 Zero saber can be customized if you get enough chips. You can change Zero's color and Saber. You can make him have a long saber, a slasher like saber, short saber and others.

In Mega Man Legends you can customize your weapons and Mega Man's armor. You can use any weapon you like and power it up.

I like games with different customizing ways. In the games I mention its fun to play through the games with different custom weapons and armor. To me that adds depth and replay value. That is what I also like for when it comes to customizing. Is it fun to play the game through with different customs.
