You should be able to save in-game but if not then double-click the gamescreen, a drop-menu should come down, hit save, click yes to save, and vwala your game should be saved. Let me know if that works for ya, if not send a message to RGR Staff mailbox and either I or someone can help you.

In fact I recommend you use the emulators save feature even if you use the in game save, it can't hurt to be cautious.
As for the trading thing, no you cannot trade Pokemon or ply any of the games multiplayer yet.
This feature is planned for later on this year so just be patient and it will be here before you know it.
