Are there any games that were so good that you wish you could forget about it and relieve the experience from the beginning all over again? This has been on the back of my mind for a long time because Jacksepticeye said this once for Subnautica but I really startes thinking about it now after playing Horizon Forbidden West.

Zero Dawn would be my choice because the world was so amazing and the combat was so fun and fluid that doing everything all over again would be fun.

I think I'd have to go with the Mass Effect trilogy. Really there are quite a few games that come to mind but I'm just gonna go with that. Discovering the different worlds and Shepard's...charming demeanor (renegade for life) for the first time was amazing and I'd love to do it all again. Just talking about it makes me kinda want to fire up legendary edition again but I think I'll hold off for now lol.

I can think of several games easily the one I want to do this the most with is Persona 5/Royal I adore the game and my first experience was something I never thought could be replicated till I played Royal and it's the closest I've ever come to feeling like I was experiencing something for the first time again. I'm not sure I'd say this based on my single player experience but if I could go back and redo all my time in Minecraft again despite it being nearly 300 days worth of playtime I would gladly go back and do it all again just so I could better document my early years in pvp and just different memories with friends. Im not sure if with Kingdom Hearts 2 if wanna experience it for just the story or more soy first time playing critical as it pushed me to improve in gaming in general and I was tested time and time again but it was worth every second.

zanderlex : Well, there are several games that I really liked. That I would love to experience for the first time again.

Mega Man 7 for SNES- This is one of my favorite Mega Man Games. I remember when I got this game for Christmas in 1996. I was excited when I got it. The music, the stages, and the bosses in this game are that good.

Mega Man X3 for SNES- This is another one of my favorite Mega Man Games. The music, the bosses, and you can play as Zero even though he is limited.

Mega Man IV and V for Gamebody I got these 2 games at the same time. I loved both of them. They are my favorite Gameboy Games. The music, the stages, the bosses, and the plot are all good.

Yoshii's Island for SNES- This was the other game I got for Christmas in 1996. I loved this one as the stages were that good. I also liked how you get to play as different colors of Yoshii.

I love reading all the replies and seeing what everyone loves how that certain game made them feel.

Mine is less nostalgic but I while I'm in love with the pokemon series I'd choose Genshin only because that first few weeks while we were in covid and this random open-world anime game came out, everyone was so wary. But when I say I fell in love with this game I mean it. I've enjoyed the story and lore and have taken all the choices I've made in game seriously. The exploration is unlike any game, I've never enjoyed just running around with my favourite characters like this, I love learning about everyone's backstories, the music is phenominal, quests are intuitive. Id love to restart and experience it all again, because I rushed it when I first started to get caught up and I regret that.

deggle : Genshin would be a big one for me based on regret too. I was doing very well as a content creator during the beta, with more than 100 hours before release, and then I just stopped before the game really became popular and in retrospect that was a terrible decision. I wish I could just go back.

Suikoden II of course, but there's a caveat. I haven't played this game in about a decade or more, so it'll be a lot like experiencing it for the first time the next time I play it, which is pretty soon I reckon.

Tbh as of late I want to experience marvel super heroes arcade for the first time once again. When I first played it I was so blown away by the licensing, gameplay, and playing as Spider-Man beating up wolverine. Always been enjoying the game since I first played it on the PlayStation and to have that sense of excitement once again would be blissful
