I've been holding in that thread title for a long time, I'm glad I finally get to say it, since this is a statement we see on the disc of the game as well as the intro
Gameplay and story: So again we get the usual game show format except we get movie specific questions, questions about certain scenes in movies, questions about movie equipment, etc.
Graphics: When we get to the question category selection screen everything is in black and white however the question segue is colorful that shows off movie genres and stuff, I don't want to talk about what we see when we get the graphics for the Jack attack, other than that it's all text and voice over.
Soundtrack: There's something unique about everything here but it's not like we get a sappy end credits movie ballad to go with everything, that would be too interesting, and probably kill the mood of the game.
Addictive: I would say this is addictive considering everything in here usually I have a habit of doing a replay if I do a crappy playing but that's only if I do a filming of it.
Depth: we get the Gibberish question as well as the dis or dat, this game also includes a Fiber-optic field trip where they call random people and see if they can come up with a question for the game (and I realized I forgot to bring that up when I reviewed the first game yesterday, but I didn't run into it that often when playing so I guess that's why I didn't bring it up), this is something you only get in the 21 question mode
Difficulty: Again it depends on how good you are at trivia, no seriously the jack attack category "That's a Rap" ate me for breakfast.
Post review follow up: I gotta say this game does kind of push me to watch some older movies last summer after I did several playings of this I saw a little bit of Sixteen Candles and saw several chunks of Forrest Gump (man what a good story that was) I really wish they made a second edition of the movies game since this only goes up to like 1996 or something, think of all the movies from the 2000s they could have covered, think of all the frustrating reboots and remakes, I just wish they could have made on in the early 2000s just so they could make a Frozen reference (I mean even Whose Line snuck one in)
This concludes my review, join me tomorrow when I finally get the other two road rash games out of the way that I didn't get to do last week because of a certain little incident that shut down the site for two days and cost me a green jersey fingers crossed that I find more Jack games before July 1st even though I'm not holding my breath (but if I have to get THE RIDE then I'd rather get it second hand, I dont't think I trust the internet archive for this situation)
