Writing reviews for games in the Retro Game Room and Video Game Room is probably the easiest way for beginners to start collecting Viz. It will earn you a good amount of CP (contribution points) as well, and once you hit a certain amount of those you get a multiplier on the amount of Viz that you earn.

I believe the first multiplier comes at 100 CP, which is like one or two reviews if they're well written.
