I'd probably say Nintendo, with games like Mario, but since I never actually owned an SNES, I might have to go with Sega Genesis, and the Sonic games. Very iconic music.

I have to say that the NES and Super NES music are just plain awesome and Epic.

One game includes Duck Tales, The Moon Theme from the NES. The song makes me happy to be alive. I also Didn't expect a story about duck could have such epic music, I vowed not to eat ducks anymore.

Rad Racers also has a very unique soundtrack.

I also like the Sega Genesis Music.

SNES had a better sounding sound processor, but the Sega Genesis' had charm in its FM based sound modulation that can't be matched.
It has its own sound, and for that I will always treasure the Genesis' creative use of what was technically "lesser hardware".
Talent made this what it is, and that's saying something.

Also Sub Terrania has a sick soundtrack.
