I'm a newbie to this forum, which is probably pretty obvious since I am posting in the newbie forum. I've been playing video games most of my life. I remember playing games on me Atari 2600 and my dads Commadore 64 which I still have in working condition. I started looking for games to play after I had a bunch of my friends over for a movie night earlier this month and one of them brought his original NES and they watched me play Mike Tyson's Punch Out pretty much all night long. My search led me to this site because it had the absolute best selection of games, which is very important to me right now, as I am a very poor college student so I can not afford any of the next gen consoles and my PS2 crapped out on me around Christmas. Other than gaming, my hobbies include reading, writing, playing both disc golf and traditional golf, bowling, I just got back into playing darts with a couple of friends, computers, and archaeology, which is what I am going to school for.

well hello im fairly new myself i love games aswell i still remember collecovision and intellivision atari those systems bring back memories lol

My neighbor used to have a collecovision. We would build a fort out of blankets and chairs in his basement and play all night during the summer. Playing the old system and games are some of the most fun I have ever had playing games because you can see the pregression from then to now in the games.

Well you seem like a smart kid with some strong goals in place. keep up the hard-work and don't let the gaming interfere with college. I'm glad to hear from another proud member.
