I've read these books a few times over the last 5 years or so and I love them. I recognize they have their flaws but in my opinion one of the best epic fantasy series out there. And now they are making it into a TV show. It looks pretty awesome. Again, not perfectly what I pictured but it never is when a book is adapted.

I seriously can't wait for the show to start. I'm more excited for this show than I was for released of Game of Thrones.

I'm relatively excited though i haven't been into it for long or got anywhere close to finishing the books. I was supposed to go to their panel at Comic Con next month but when I heard that the panel would be in person but the crew would be virtual, I cancelled my reservation.

zanderlex : yeah, that's cause they are filming season 2 in Europe right now. I don't know how much of a headache it would be to bring the cast back for something like this before the show has even come out but I'm not surprised they didn't.

I don't think they need the hype for it but it would be better if they could have done it that way.

zanderlex : of course. The Wheel of Time is one of the most beloved fantasy series of all time. It easily rivals LOTR and GOT for popularity. The only reason it's not more mainstream is it hasn't had an adaptation on any kind of screen yet.
