This chapter is entirely dialogue. Wow. I wonder how often I've done that for this story before this...

Chapter 15

“This place is a BEAUTY for an old building!” Inky exclaimed.

All the ghosts besides Clyde and Violet had toured about half the building. There wasn’t much to see besides long hallways and doors to empty rooms.

“This whole building could be a maze!” Pinky pointed out.

“Guys, who has the bucket?” Greeny asked.
They all froze. They looked around to see if maybe one of them accidentally dropped it and didn’t realize it. They quickly realized that they not only lost the bucket but also two of their teammates.

“Uh-oh where did Clyde run off to?” Blinky asked, not sounding upset but only concerned.

“And what happened to Violet?” Bronze asked.
Greeny sped away from the rest of them and rolled his eyes. Blinky followed in no time.

“Stay here, everyone!” Greeny yelled. “We’ll find ‘em.”
They split off and rushed through every hallway, careless about how dark it was.

I hope Clyde didn’t run away or something, Blinky thought. He’s been very upset lately and I don’t know how to make things better for him. Come on buddy…
Three more sharp turns later, he and Clyde collided at a corner.

“AHHHHHH!” Clyde screamed.

“Clyde it’s me Blinky! You can see me right?” Blinky whispered.

“N-not really,” Clyde answered.

“Clyde! What happened?” Violet yelled as she sped around
the corner and found him.

“Violet is that you?” Blinky asked. “We’ve been looking for you too.”

“I know…” Violet sighed. “Clyde?”

“I ran into him and I couldn’t see who he was!” Clyde shouted.

“Oh OK. Is Greeny looking for me?” Violet asked Blinky, still not afraid of what Greeny could do to her.

“Yep. Now we find him,” Blinky chuckled. “Did you two get lost?”

“I was trying to find the bathroom…” Clyde admitted, embarrassed again.

“Oh, did you end up finding it?” Blinky wondered, laughing again.

“Yep. Let’s go find Greeny before he scares me!” Clyde shouted in a hurry.

“Going around a maze of darkness to catch somebody… just like the old days with Pac-Man…” Blinky smiled.
