I've been wanting to further get into Final Fantasy and started looking into some of the older games. I narrowed it down to two potential games based on videos, length, and grades, and they are IV Complete Collection and VI and could use some feedback on which one is the best to play right now overall.

think 6 is the second FF that actually arrived on US soil(first was ff1)so they renamed it to 4 (don't ask I didn't make the decision) so try keeping that in mind on reviews

Final Fantasy was the first (and only) FF released for the NES, FF 4 was used to push demand for the SNES and was marketed as Final Fantasy 2, FF6 was the second and final SNES game in the main series and marketed as Final Fantasy 3.

2 (4) is a much better story if you're interested in focus on characters, 3 (6) if you care about the setting so it doesn't matter so much that many characters spend a lot of time existing without the game giving them attention.
