Is the era of great single player open world games over?

I think there are a number of great games which once played make every new coming game feel boring. In my opinion if one has played all of these games (e.g. GTA V, Read Dead Redemption 2, Witcher 3, Hitman series, etc) one can never like any other new coming game. Atleast this is how I feel. Note that these games actually are quite old. GTA V came in early 2000s and same goes for other titles as well. So, basically no exceptional single player game has arrived that has beaten these titles. Do you guys agree?

I think I can kinda get what your saying I'm not as familiar when it comes to specifically open world games but single player games I can kinda get it but something I'll point out is I don't think those games at least for the most part are as old as you think since RDR2 came out in Oct 2018 but I've had my own issues with playing certain games making others not as exciting after in the past year playing the Persona games and now to start this year playing Nier Automata it's hard for me to imagine any game ever coming close to being such a fulfilling time.
