Is buying games from Gamefly worth it?

Today I saw a couple big deals on buying pre owned games from Gamefly. For instance, I saw the new Kingdom Hearts game for Switch for only $30 and I saw The Last of Us 2 for PS4 for only $20.

Even on eBay, the Kingdom Hearts game is consistently selling for $36 to $45, so $30 seems a bit too good to be true doesn't it? Is it even worth buying games from Gamefly? Have any of you bought games there and had any problems?

Never bought games from there before so I can't really comment if it's legit or not. I guess you can look up reviews of the place and see how strangers rate them. 30 dollars doesn't honestly seem like such a crazy difference from like 36 so I'm not sure if I'd go with the sketchy website. PS4 games for 20 sound good though unless I'm severely overestimating their normal sale price.

I haven't used it either, but I was tempted to in the past. Never truly looked into it to confirm if it was legit, though.

Last of Us 2 for a mere 20 bucks is actually very cheap. The game is still 40 bucks here if you buy it used. It could be one of those mega offers you just can't pass, but it seems a bit fishy in my opinion.

I'm in with Furret, go check some reviews or opinions about the site and then decide for yourself. I think it's a nice place, given it's long history and such, but it won't hurt to confirm its validity.

I the same as others in this thread have never used the site but I used to see commercials on tv about it all the time years ago so I would assume/hope it's legit but I agree with the others that looking up reviews on the site is probably the best route to go.

Reviews of Gamefly wouldn't be of buying and selling games though, they would be of just the company itself. Gamefly has always been a RENTING site, they only added the ability to buy games like in the last year or so.

Still, when a company takes a step into another form of business, even if it means simply expanding their services to not just rental but directly buying, the people make sure to review it. That's just how society works, we need to create opinions (sometimes biased, sometimes false, you know the drill) so nobody gets away with scamming people.

If they added the option to buy that recently, then I'm sure many of the recently posted reviews have included it. Hell, if it can have better offers than places like Gamestop for sure it's been reviewed. I sincerely doubt nobody else has tried buying games there, and if no reviews exist about that then there are no complaints, because we all know that more often than not we leave a review to warn other people of bad experiences we've had.
