Hear ye, hear ye. It's a lot more involved than the usual forum games, but I'm seeing if there's any interest in playing out a heist.

The system is called Blades in the Dark, the summary is that a small group needs to plot out what they're hitting and how, then roll d6s to find out how hilariously badly the plan goes. I'll provide the dice and results, then ask what your next moves are. Any takers?

I'd be in to try this out. I've never been able to participate in many forum games (and most, if not all, were unsuccessful as they were left unfinished) so I'd like to keep improving on that.

Seems like it'd be a coop thing but without individual decisions, it catches my interest just with that. Not sure if you explained anything else in the other thread you made, I've been away a few days and so I'm replying to the latest thread because it technically should have more validity.

I hope we can get enough players for this, I'm eager to try new things and everything that can spice up activity even if it's just a tiny bit is very much welcome.

It's not that individual decisions aren't made, but as a band of thieves it really isn't advisable to make doing your own thing your emphasis.

I'd like to get at least three; since you and zanderlex both hope this can work out that means one more, though a fourth would be helpful. If we get that I can talk more about what's going on in the game.

That depends on the group and rate of posting. If there's an agreement on what should be done next once a day then it could easily be a couple of shorter burglaries (or other criminal activities) a week, but more often forum games have someone who can only post maybe twice a week.

There's no telling how many runs it could last. The thing was written to assume a group that wants to stay together indefinitely.
