Is the Poke Ball Plus worth it? A couple days ago I picked one up at Gamestop because they were selling a pre owned copy for only $15 at one of the closing GameStops so I figured why not.

I couldn't figure out what to do with it in Pokemon Go and using it with Pokemon Sword to take my Pokemon out on walks only got me like 1-2 Ultra Balls and 1-2 Rare Candies after an entire day of being outside.

So I'm not entirely sure of how good it is.

What are your thoughts on them? Do you use them? What else are they good for?

You kinda already know my thought but to something I didn't mention in discord.

If you are able to get the wrist straps off which is a little bit of pain and then add your own chain to it. After that you can then wear it as an accessory. Who knows you might make some kid proud when you show them your favorite pokemon. If you didn't know if you click the ball "release" button it will wake up the pokemon and you can shake it and the pokemon will let out a cry.

Edit Here is a picture of what mine looks like with a chain on it

pokemon x : Yeah, you told me about how you spend your money.

I did the thing to press the button it only vibrates when I click or shake it, no cries. The only time I hear the cries are when I move the Pokemon in and out of the ball.

A chain doesn't sound bad, I have a ton of old dog tags that I could probably use for one, and I guess I could just cut the strap right at the base.

To solve the vibrate only problem click the control stick and top button at the same time and it should vibrate twice. Try shaking after that and it should then make sound.

If you do the chain thing it has to be a small chainlink kind because the space is pretty hard to get around on it. It took me like 30 minutes just to get the chain in and around the pole that holds it on the inside.

pokemon x : Lol, I managed to fix the sound but now when I'm not actively using it and it's just in my pocket, it will randomly make a noise throughout the day, usually in awkward situations like when I'm with a bunch of people.

I found all my old dog tags tucked away and they're all pretty small. Tomorrow I plan on messing around with it and officially cleaning the ball because I noticed that it's really dirt after looking at how shiny yours is.
